You’ve seen him in the van and out on missions with us for a bit now, but Steve Van Doren and the entire Vans team would like to take this opportunity to officially welcome back the incomparable Jason Dill to the Vans Pro Skate family [we were his first shoe sponsor back when he was like, eleven]. To herald this magnificent news, we’re christening our formal alliance with a full week of in-depth and exclusive Dill content on-line. Yesterday, we posted every single one of Jason Dill’s skate interviews over the past two decades, and today we present Jason’s Alien Workshop ad archive, with nearly two dozen of Dill’s Alien ads spanning 14 years. Be sure to check out Jason’s Vans team page and check back often for something else new every day this week. Who knows, you might even learn something about Jason you never knew.
“F**k. It’s about time.”
– Anthony Van Engelen, Vans Pro
“What did you say his name was again? I’m sorry. I just can’t keep up with all these new kids coming up these days.”
– Jeff Grosso, Vans Legend
“Video? What video?! Wait…nobody ever told me anything about a Vans video!!”
– Jason Dill, Vans Pro

Just realized I never posted a direct video link- so if anyone missed it:
We still have plenty of sets available in store and online.

Our friends at Danner just launched a new website for their STUMPTOWN collection, the division we exclusively carry in the midwest. The site is very informative, well designed, and features the entire range of styles. We carry a select few in store, and the rest are available for custom ordering.
A Danner boot is a mark of unsacrificing quality. It’s been that way since 1932, the year Charles Danner decided to open his boot making business in the midst of the Great Depression and risk his future on a stubborn belief that – regardless of the economy – superior craftsmanship matters.
The Pacific Northwest was the ultimate proving ground for Danner boots, and Danner boot makers.
From the earliest days, we have only used the best materials and only the most skilled craftsmen. In the decades that followed, Danner became the favorite of tradespeople and outdoorsmen who understood that a well-made boot, though more costly, would outperform and outlast several pairs of inexpensive ones.
Within just a few years, Danner boots gained a reputation for enduring the ruggedness of the Pacific Northwest, and in the process earned the respect of a generation.
Today, Danner quality remains legendary because Danner standards remain high.
It’s easy to talk about higher standards, but it’s incredibly difficult to live up to them.
Since 1932, that’s exactly what we’ve been doing.
Check out the site, and stop in to see them in person. They are a fantastic addition to our fall heritage / outerwear collection. Available now at SILO!
check out the video/spotlight above, and then pop back to the webstore to purchase online.
A little more on the VERSA MID “S”. Our original post can be seen HERE. The above shot is much more professional, but for once I think our photos are a little more descriptive about the way the shoe truly looks in person.
More importantly are some amazing video’s, courtesy of VANS SYNDICATE : (3 more after click-through)
A little insight to one of our favorite brands in the shop.
